CH’IXI (ONTOLOGY OF THE MOTTLED):
(Gris / Stained. Aymara / Rivera Cusicanqui)
ES: Color de perro callejero corriendo. Ni blanco, ni negro, ni gris.
Puntos que no se mezclan, creando una mancha, el sucio, el ‘entre’ positivo.
Usado aquí para describir una posición epistemológica, ni adentro ni fuera de ninguna tradición, en permanente fricción entre todas. (No es posible una traducción limpia. —Y ese, precisamente, es el punto.
EN: The color of the street dog while it runs. Neither white nor black, but not even grey.
Points of both that never blend, creating a stained, impure, positively dirty something in between.
Used here to describe an epistemological position: not inside nor outside any tradition, in permanent friction between all of them. No clean translation exists. —That is precisely the point.

KYNIKOS (PHILOSOPHY):
(Griego / Greek: kyōn, dog / Diogenes of Sinope)
ES: Filosofía performativa, no argumentativa. El perro callejero fuera de las categorías, duerme donde puede, resiste corporalmente. Distinto del cinismo moderno (zynismus o conciencia falsa); porque se rehúsa a la distancia irónica. El kynikoo no se burla de la norma, opera como si no existiera.

Distinguished from modern cynicism (zynismus —false consciousness) by its refusal of ironic distance. The kynikos doesn’t mocks the norms, it operates as if the norms do not exist.

AYNI (CONTRACTUAL RECIPROCITY):
(Reciprocidad / Reciprocity. Aymara)
ES: No es ‘generosidad’, es una deuda que se paga con otro tipo de deuda. Se usa aquí para describir la relación con los materiales, archivos, con el cuerpo y el proceso. El material al que no se le da suficiente tiempo no puede activar su agencia. Lo que el/la artista toma del material, debe devolverlo.
EN: Is is not generosity, it is a debt repaid with another kind of debt. Used here to describe the relationship with working materials: archive, body, process. The material that has not been given enough time cannot activate its agency. What the artist takes from the material, the artist owes back.

METABOLIC DEBT / DEUDA METABÓLICA:
ES: Auditoría del consumo de cuerpos/territorios
por el sistema extractivo (colonizaje).
EN: Audit of the consumption of bodies/territories
by the extractive system (colonization).

GLITCH (ERROR AS REVELATION):
ES: Las rajaduras por las cuales la materialidad de una estructura se hace visible. No es una falla estetizada —el glitch como úna imagen honesta de un sistema que denuncia su propia suavidad.
EN: The crack through which the materiality of a structure becomes visible. Not aestheticized failure —the glitch as the only honest image of a system that denounces its own seamlessness.

RADICAL UNLEARNING / DESAPRENDIZAJE RADICAL:
ES: (Metodología) Una autopsia de la propia práctica.
La cicatriz producida por extraer de la propia formación en lugar de sólo documentarla.
ES: (Methodology) An autopsy of one’s own mastery.
The scar left by extracting from one’s own formation rather than merely documenting it.
